The Tilian Partnership contains 12 schools, with their own headteacher.  The schools are part of the Tilian Partnership Multi Academy Trust. 
 
Each school has a School Governance Committee (SGC) who have delegated powers from the Tilian Trust Board to support and challenge their school.  The constitution of the SGC is similar to the governing body.

Welcome from Terry Jennings - Chair of Governance
 
On behalf of our new governing body I would like to welcome you to Cavendish School.

Together with the head teacher we are endeavouring to foster a family feel in our school. A place where children feel valued, are encouraged and able to flourish, whilst learning in an environment where everyone feels a member of the team. Where good achievement becomes the base line.

There is immense potential in our school and we seek to help the staff as they realise the many abilities in our children. At the same time we act as a critical friend, challenging all aspects of the curriculum to ensure the best is being offered. Governors come as volunteers representing parents, the local church, staff and the community sharing our skills and enthusiasm to enrich our whole school community.
